I was 7 years old when this movie came out and thank God my Dad let me watch rated R movies since I was that old. This movie is genre-creating. This, Commando, Predator, Die Hard, Rambo. My God where are these movies now days. At least the new Batman and Bond series seem to be along these veins. And the new Hulk/Iron Man/Marvel universe movies seem to be action packed but every fucking thing is rated pg13. I want the 80s back you fucks! haha

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie from start to finish. Schwarzenegger is always great to watch on screen. I actually ended up seeing Terminator 2: Judgment Day before watching the original when I was very young. The special effects were very good for 1984.

They dont make movies like they used to, you know what i mean? come on. the old movies like die hard and the terminator are way better than their squels for example: Die hard 1, 2, and 3 are way better than live free or die hard even though the 3rd one was made in 1995 and the last one was in 2007

No Way T2 was only better because of the computer CGI effects they didnt have any of this in the early eightes,the story line of the original terminator is way better,arnie turned good guy in T2 kinda tuned it down a bit in my books he played way better as the stalker

Yeah but they needed to add a new termenator that would make Arnold's model like a piece of crap so they had to make him good because Rese barely beat Arnold in the first one and there was no way a human could be a T1000. Also I think T2 was the best
