I think you're referring to the revelation made by her friend Liliane Guardo (on A&E's BIOGRAPHY) who accompanied Eva on her European trip. What I think Liliane meant was that Eva was afraid to be alone in a foreign country thousands of miles away from home. The people at A&E oversimplified by saying she was "afraid to sleep alone at night."
