maybe madara took obito's body with his because his body couldn't stay forever and maybe while onichmaru was in the akatsuki he got the idea of immortality from madara. But onichimaru didn't have the sharingan, and maybe when he heard about sasuke he wanted him. But unlike madara, onichimaru has to change bodies every couple years and madara has to change MAYBE every 10 or 20. JUST GUESSING. SO MADARA A.K.A TOBI AND OBITO R ONE. Maybe sometimes obito's spirit is in active when tobi is childish.

No its not obito, its Madara. Somehow Madara has surived over the course of 4 genarations. He fought the First in the valley of the end, and controlled the 9 tailed fox, and now he seeks the other tailed demons to restore his mangekyou sharigan (note, his is the strongest, cuz his and his brothers r combined) and rise back to power.
Thats why he created Akatsuki, even tho every member has their own desires

And goldeneagle419 ur theory is wrong abouit obito. You seem to know what happened pretty well..however, obito wanted kakashi to leave with rin, and protect her. Theres no reason he would be mad. Your theory is some-what true, but not without flaws like that one

most of you are right madara and obito same person.madara is able to live long because of his chakra. i speculate he takes obitos body so he wont have to go out and intro. that he is still alive. althought he is still somewhat immortal but using the new sharingan obtained by sasuke there might be a weakness to madara they said pein was immortal but things didnt turn out well for him in the end.

Iv heard theorys that Madara is Danzou haha sounds weird but if u think after it might make sense. U know Danzous rigt eye is coverd where madara got his sharingan and Danzou killed that frog. Now some thinks but Hey Madara was sealing the 8th tail how can he have killed that frog? Well we all know he can move super fast so that make perfect sence or idk but for now i think Danzou might be madara
