My trip to San Antonio Texas

In March 2006, I was able to go to a Prudential Convention in San Antonio, on my broker's dollar :) since I made it into the Leading Edge Society, which is an honor given by Prudential, to top producers. (it's not the top, top, but close enough for me :) We got extra photo ops & banquets for any awards or designations we had earned the previous year.
This is a slide show of the River Walk, downtown area and some of our event stuff. I had to leave out a lot though. But I fell in love with the River Walk and the architecture. I hope you enjoy this presentation.

And thanks. My kid's pretty awesome. =P I think the 2 most recent ones are funnier though ;)
i lived in new york and houston. SA is so much more laied back. People are so nice.
Crime is low, and its got a real southwest feel
That said, I rarely go to the Riverwalk! I don't think I've been in 4 or 5 years, at least, and that was to check out the Xmas parade.
Never been to Fiesta, either.
Housing is cheap. $800-$1000 will get you a nice 2 BDR apartment. A pre-owned home in a nice north side suburb will cost about $125K. New homes, of course, will run more. The lowest I've seen on the "hot" north side is $140K. How much up depends on you.
Utilities are cheap. Food is cheap. Most restaurants aren't expensive. But a car is just about a necessity.
