I was commenting on how the effects would still hold up, if not on their own merits, then on the suspense they instill. That is, the characters, music, plot, etc still help to make one feel the suspense. Take the floor shot--how many filmmakers would think of having the T1000 disguised as a floor, even with the advances in CGI now.
It's why Star Wars in 1977 is better than Star Wars in 2005.
It's more than the effects.
It's how they are used.

i wish the trailer didnt reveal that arnold was a good terminator...its not that big a deal but its a cool moment when u see them meet in the corridor with john in between and to be like "HOLY SHIT, ARNOLD IS GOOD THIS TIME!?!?"

@prod1gy3000: Cameron was the writer/director of the original Terminator as well so he does make good moves the first time also :)
@pixma10: So true. I was under the expression that the original trailer (or teasers for that matter) did not include so much info that can be seen here in this trailer. So this trailer was a huge disappointment in that sense.

Awful trailer, the movie is brilliant though. One of the best sequels ever, a shame the third one was so bad. I hope they'll redeem themselves with the fourth one.
