I'm now a 38 year old man who maybe should know better, but I love this song so much and have searched it out for many years.....loving seeing it tonight.
Eurovision 1982 I was a 12 year old lad and remember watching this with my gran..... fantastic memories.

Sally ann and Stephen Fisher were fab and deserved their no 2 porition in the uk charts. Great shame that their 2 follow up singles Hang on th your heart and talking out of line wernt hits ... good as any Bucks Fizz Songs in my book for that era !!!!!!

I keep coming back to this. Maybe its cos the lyrics resonate with my life. Sometimes wrapped up in a pure pop package are the most profound of observations! Great song though, and one of our more memorable entries.

A song that should have won. Rhythm backbeat & melody was 100% 'of that moment' It didntw win 'cos both were wholly wrongly outfitted & their dance routine & choregrophy wasnt 2 clevver whatsoever; ROMANCE & PASSION is what wins Eurovision - plus a GREAT SONG. One STEP FURTHER had the latter (only & sadly) ...but it SHIRLY must B re-leased/ redone soon.......with a more sultry mix per chance and at 112 BPM ....Leona style... Hugs RDOG XXX

Listening to this song for the first time since I was 10 I must admit it's a very good song, but it's way too much a blatant replica of Bucks Fizz's style. I remember thinking so at the time. Trying to reproduce previous success by slavishly copying it rarely works. We would have been better off going for something more original.
Great melody though. It should have scored higher, despite the fact it was Bucks Fizz lite.

What has Angela Rippon got on her head??? And can't you just hear the microphones tapping against the floor at the beginning of the song? My friend and I used to sing and do the dance routine during every break at (primary) school.
How can anyone remember she was called Sally Ann Triplet??? Respect!
