One of the most horrible and stupid songs which ever topped the UK charts. I hate the boom-boom bass playing, the atrocious female backing vocals in the chorus and in the end. King is very dumb and sissy in his singing. This is the best example of muzak made for houswives and masses. The Dutch Band George Baker Selection recorded it also and it's damn stupid too.

Yeah but PC, cast your mind back to 1975, it was all the rage back then along with crimpolene slacks, bad hairstyles (Sorry Sir Jim and Mr King) and cheesy muzak. Listen out for it the next time you step into a lift or tune into the radio on any Aircraft. Enjoy.

I'ts a total pile of dog poop. King was the arch master at recording toons to appeal to the masses, and this was his nadir, but ironically probably one of his most commercially sucessful. Its terrible...but the masses bought it...thats the recrod buying public for you...
