An A+ song,off of an excellent first effort album. This song should have killed and buried,Take on Me. But in my opinion,it totally does.

Muito boas as músicas deste grupo norueguês. Lembro que em 1988 eles vieram fazer um show aqui em São Paulo, bem como em 1991 no rock in Rio 2, com quase 200 mil pessoas lotando o Maracanã. Assim como muitas músicas dos anos 80, essa é mais uma que vale a pena escutar!

I think there's meant to be some sort of cynicism or black humour behind it. The 'Take on Me' video implied they'd made it and they'd be together forever, and this tears them apart brutally. Meanwhile, the song somewhat mockingly declares 'The sun always shines on TV!!', meaning that perhaps happy endings only happen on the television.
