I grew up in Natchitoches Parish, La. My folks are from Winn Parish. My Grandparents on both sides knew Huey Long(and Uncle Earl) very well. I use to hear them talk about the many good things Long had done for the poor people of Louisiana. But they were also quick to point out that Long had a dark side too. If Long had lived to be President during WWII, just think of how he might have employed the Manhattan Project to gain even more power.SCARY! America would be very different today if he had.

The US Congress can just as easily repeal the Federal Reserve Act but, the finicial industry has bought off 75% of congress, so yeah...... The only thing worth preserving in the US Consitituion is the Bill of Rights. Outside of that, the version of governance laid out in the US Consitution is very autocratic.
