ok but even if that is true. Surely you can recognise that there shouldn't be any place for homophobic sermons in Britain today? I don't think he understands how much damage he is doing.
I'm not knocking religion at all - in fact i am a christian myself - but I couldn't believe that he could be so cruel as to incite hatred against a group of people.

I've never heard Simon being homophobic in a sermon, only wanting to share God's goodness & love in delivering men & women from homosexuality. God loves the sinner & hates the sin. We are all sinners & God loves each & everyone of us & wants to set us free from all that would entangle us. Satan is the father of lies...he's a big deceiver, but God is bigger & better...there is no competition. God bless you & take care.

I really don't think you understand the issue here. Do you really think that God would appreciate sermons which gay people are referrred to as pigs (which i heard with my own ears)? I'm certain that Simon is more likely to end up in hell for this kind of hateful language than for people who fall in love with someone of the same sex.
Anyway, I'm more concerned that the gay people in the audience will listen to him and suffer years of anguish and guilt and self-hatred as a result.

First of all, you'll probably mean "amigo", with "a" (from latin "amicus").
then, I've as well seen beautiful women in Ireland, country which I have visited and enjoyed. My comment doesn't mean the oposite,I was specifically meaning about those three in this particular case.
My intention was only to make a funny comment, not to be too rude, so I beg pardon if offended anyone. There are wonderful women in UK, as in every part around the world.

By the other hand, I agree with you that there are some Spanish women with moustache, but I prefer not to make comments about some other countries' female tourists and their hairy legs, hairy armpits, dirty and stinking underwear (and then they say it's because they come from a coldest climate), and their look and hygiene in general.
I repeat that I actually admire and respect both Ireland and UK in general, and especially most of the Irish and British ESC entries.

Well, we can see that he didn't succeed very much in the music world.
The man is supposed to do something to earn his life.
Is very kind of him to choose the less perverse way of both to do it. I think there are less dangerous his incendiary sermons than that songs he used to sing.
If he has beeng singing with that odd girls, he should be more comprehensive with gays.
